Announced this morning, a “new” Nest Aware subscription model will cover an entire home, not just individual devices. To remind you, the current 1st-gen Nest Aware pricing is per camera. Nest Aware 1st Gen vs. New Nest Aware
In early 2020 when this launches, there will be two options: Nest Aware and Nest Aware Plus. Nest Aware is 30 days of video history, camera features like intelligent alert, sound detection from select devices, and emergency calling from select devices. It’s priced at $6/month. Nest Aware Plus costs $12/month and offers 10 days of 24/7 video history, 60 days of event-video history, plus everything else Nest Aware comes with.
For those who want to stick to their current Nest Aware plan, Google says you can do that.
